Kira Canvas — Beta Support
Private pilot via TestFlight

Contact
Email [email protected]. During the pilot we aim to respond within one business day.

Reporting a problem
The fastest route is TestFlight's built-in feedback: take a screenshot in the app, then tap the screenshot preview and choose Share Beta Feedback. It attaches device and build details automatically.

If you email instead, please include: what you were doing, what you expected, what happened, your iPhone model, and whether the capture involved voice, photos, links or a combination.

What we especially want to hear about
- Anything that crashes or loses a capture.
- Transcripts that are wrong in your language.
- Notes classified into the wrong category.
- Anything confusing enough that you had to stop and think.

Kira Canvas — Privacy Policy

Effective 1 August 2026 · Applies to the Kira Canvas private beta (TestFlight pilot)

In short: your voice recordings and photos never leave your iPhone. Kira transcribes audio on your device. Only the text transcript is sent, encrypted, to a language-model service to organize your note. There is no advertising, no tracking, and no user-to-user sharing.
Who to contact
Kira Canvas is developed and operated by the developer identified on the app's TestFlight and App Store listing ("we"). For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected]. We respond to privacy requests at this address.

What Kira Canvas does
Kira Canvas is a voice-first capture tool. You record voice notes, attach photos ("Spots") and paste links; Kira transcribes your voice note on your iPhone and organizes each capture into a reviewable draft.

Data we process, and where it goes
Voice recordings — recorded and transcribed entirely on your device using a bundled speech-recognition model. Audio is never uploaded and never leaves your iPhone.
Transcripts — the text of your voice note (and text you paste) is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a language-model service, Moonshot AI ("Kimi"), for the sole purpose of classifying your note into task categories. No audio, photos, names of testers, or device identifiers are included. Translation is disabled.
Photos — stored only in Kira's protected local app storage on your device. They are never uploaded.
Links and pasted text — preserved locally with your capture; pasted text may form part of the transcript context sent for classification as described above.
Storage and retention
All captures — audio, photos, transcripts and drafts — are stored in protected local storage on your iPhone. We operate no cloud copy of your content. Deleting a capture in the app, or deleting the app, removes the content from your device. Export happens only when you choose it, through Apple's Files sheet, to a destination you select.

Third parties
Moonshot AI (Kimi) — receives transcript text only, as described above, to classify your note.
Apple TestFlight — as a beta tester you interact with Kira through TestFlight, which is governed by Apple's TestFlight privacy terms. Crash reports and feedback you submit reach us through TestFlight.
The beta contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Your choices and rights
Because your content lives on your device, you control it directly. You can decline microphone or photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings (related features will stop working). For any question, access or deletion request — including under the EU GDPR if it applies to you — contact [email protected].

Children
Kira Canvas is a professional field tool and is not directed at children.

Changes
If our practices change during or after the beta, we will update this page and note the new effective date above.
